Arbitration routing service

If you have not subscribed an arbitration agreement but are interested in accessing arbitration, the TAB can help you through its Routing Service.

The Routing Service is a free service whereby the specialised personnel of the TAB contact the parties or their lawyers, if appointed, inviting them to attend without commitment a voluntary meeting at which a delegate of the TAB will show them the advantages and possibilities of resolving their dispute through arbitration and make an initial estimate of the time and cost of the arbitration proposed. The ultimate goal of the service is to achieve a voluntary agreement by the parties to submit their dispute to arbitration and sign an arbitration agreement that would permit the procedural steps to be taken to reach a final resolution by arbitration. The meeting is not intended to solve the conflict itself but to agree on a channel for its solution.

The free service extends only to the arrangement of the meeting and the meeting itself, to be held at the headquarters of the TAB on the date indicated. In the event of failure to attend by any or all concerned, or if one party does not accept submission to arbitration, the TAB management will end without further ado.

If other meetings are needed, or further arbitration activity is required due to agreement between the parties to submit to arbitration, the appropriate fee shall be due at the beginning of the arbitration proceedings - registration fee – payable by those requesting such activities, plus the relevant fee rates charged in accordance with the provisions of Art. 30 of the TAB Regulations.
